How to use:
- Type of goal: There are various aspects of our lives where we try to excel, such as family, health and wellness, professional goals, and others. Segment your goals and make sure you are working towards different aspects of your life for holistic growth.
- Current importance: It is easy to beat yourself up for not achieving all your goals. But remember, we are all human, and there’s only so much we can do in a certain span of time. Prioritize your goals and focus on the ones that are imperative for you. Don't forget to pat yourself on the back when you succeed. Remember, it is okay to leave some goals for next year.
- Timeline: Not every goal is a one-day affair, and not every goal is a year-long matter. Analyze your goals and understand the amount of time you need to dedicate to fulfill them. Divide them over the next 12 months. Keep in mind that a goal that requires 6 months needs to start by June, and a goal that needs 1 month can be accomplished in a month where you have the time, headspace, and energy for it.
- Tags: You might want to segment your goals even further. Go ahead and assign them tags that make the most sense to you and help you work towards them better.
Tip: Use colors to make your goal tracker visually appealing, so you are motivated to keep using it throughout the year.
